Christmas in July

What do you think about Christmas in July? To be honest, I probably shunned it until I had a Christmas book to get sold! Christmas in July is the perfect time to get some more copies out into the world!

There are a ton of things I would not have seen myself doing, until I became an indie author. Today I did my first IG LIVE (which I had told myself I would never do) to promote my sale. It actually ended up being a lot of fun once I got started. I stumbled a couple of times and couldn't figure out how to turn it off (LOL), but other than that, I think it went pretty well. 

I got to share the story of how SEEING Christmas came to be. It was actually originally a poem that I had written for my family to be read on Christmas morning. The reason I wrote the poem was because at the time, it seemed to me like people kept saying Christmas was too materialistic, and I just didn't see it that way. I could see Jesus in all of it.

From the lights, to the tree, to the gifts and everything else, I could see Jesus and His Spirit everywhere, and I wanted my family to see it that way too. After I read them the poem, they immediately said I needed to make it a book, so I could share my perspective with everyone. 

And so here I am, sharing it with as many people as I can, doing things I thought I never would do....a Christmas in July sale being one of them!

I hope and pray SEEING Christmas is a blessing and opens your eyes to see Jesus in places you may not have seen Him before...hiding in every detail of the most wonderful time of the year!
